This is a complete Icon theme largely based on GNOME, with some icons/ideas from Tango, Elementary, and Discovery. All credit should go to their respective authors.
The goal of this project is to create a simple, yet complete icon theme that feels at home in the GNOME desktop environment, regardless of color-scheme.
In other words, I want to provide an easy way for everyone to make their desktops match their moods, wallpapers, visual styles, or laptop’s colors at any given time, keeping icon consistency intact.
The themes are made from the same files and recolored by hand, so you will always get the same quality with any chosen color. They were designed to match my Clearlooks/Nodoka/Murrine-Colors GTK Themes and their additional artwork, so if you combine them you will have the best experience. There are 4 color variations: Brave (Blue), Wise (Green) Human (Orange) and Wine (Red).
Important, must read or clowns will eat you:
I have made a script that automatically downloads the latest version of these icons, all my gtk themes/wallpapers/emerald themes/metacities and applies them instantly. It’s a real time saver, you can get it here:
-Too many minor fixes/recolorings to count.
-All emblems are available now!
-New Logout/Shutdown/Suspend/Hibernate icons (HAL included).
-Added many more tangofied application icons.
-Added a few (very few) icons in smaller resolutions, mainly for icons that scaled badly.
-Added a ‘pixmaps’ folder for even more customization.
-Added hundreds of additional icons.
-Most of fedora 9 and ubuntu 8’s default menu icons are now themed.
-Added a few more xfce icons.
-Resized/optimized a lot of icons that didn’t scale well.
1. Add missing icons/fix bugs for suse/xfce.
2. Add more tangofied icons.
3. Add mimetypes for every possible file.
4. Optimize trash, folders, networks, search icons, and a few others to scale better to lower sizes.
