This is simply a version of the existing Elegant Brit theme, suitable for the Mac Menu patch. I don’t use that patch in my PC, but Ayoli was very kind to send me a modded version of this theme, so that the Mac Menu users out there can also use Elegant Brit. Please report any bug you find, so that we can enhance your user experience and improve Elegant Brit.
Thank you so much, Ayoli!
NOTE: This version was designed for those whose panels are 24px high. Therefore, if your GNOME-panel has a different height, you might have to change the height of the Panel/menubar-black.png pixmap.
FINALLY, a METACITY version!!!
I built the Elegant Brit Metacity theme based on the Alessandro Metacity theme. I did it in order to follow the layout of its Emerald equivalent, that is, the title is on the right (the buttons’ position is regulated on Gconf; in this theme’s logic, they’d stay in the left). If you want to change the title position to the center, please follow the instructions on the Metacity XML file. However, if you have any doubts, please don’t hesitate and contact me. I’ll be pleased to help. I hope you like it, and if you don’t, make suggestions!
A theme inspired by MurrinaRelax, Elegant Brit, bad weather, and Paris.
Includes GTK, Metacity, and Openbox themes.
Please leave a comment if you find any problems with this theme, or if you have any suggestions. Read the rest of this entry »

I have started to work on a dark but eye friendly theme. I use my computer 7/24 and my eyes are not ‘trained’ enough to take the big difference of contrasts on the screen.
Therefore I aim to harmonize the use (to be able to use my computer for many hours without making my eyes tired) and the look (to have something tasteful on the desktop that I look at for many hours).
The theme will be updated often, after any progress I made.
The theme is based on the great Aurora engine and its installation is required.
Suggested gnome-panel size: 24 pix.
I have included the config file for compiz setup. Import into your compiz configuration and you will have the same opacity effect on menus like in the preview. You will find the config file in: /home/[USER]/.themes/LUX folder.
