Human-O2 is an Icon-Set based on Hydroxygen (Oxygen) -Icon-Set. The idea was born when I used the Hydroxygen-Theme on my Ubuntu-desktop, and I thought it would be really great if the Human-Theme would be so complete and wonderful. So I started to create a fusion between both. To get an almost perfect Human-feeling I had to modify a lot icons. Smart and simple theme with Human spirit.
I started with the idea to take the best from :
- Basic Ideals Theme
- Humanistic theme
in order to change radically the old fashion Ubuntu theme (yes it is).
This is a murrine-based port of my Clearlooks Human theme. it’s meant as an alternative for ubuntu’s human theme. It’s light, it has an orange/human color scheme, its own unified metacity theme, and looks great with ubuntu’s human icons.
There are also Brave (Blue) and Wise (Green) versions included.
You need to install the murrine engine to use this theme.
Inside the file there are instructions for making the themes more compact, or to add color to scrollbars. Read the rest of this entry »
This is an extensive set of icon themes based on GNOME and Tango, with some inspiration from Human, Tango Generator, Elementary, and other open source projects. The project’s goal is to integrate closely with gnome-icon-theme, while greatly expanding its available icons and allowing users to choose from 7 completely different and unique color schemes. With the additional source pack, an unlimited number of complete color variations can be rebuilt from source.
